  • Mk3 stock suspension

Hi guys, is there anyone in victoria with their stock mk3 suspension not on the car that can lend it to me for a couple of days so I can get road worthy? Don't really want to buy new or get it from wreckers as I won't need it after road worthy.
    Cheers

I've got Jom coilovers, but for reason the mechanic says I NEED to have stock suspension, otherwise I need a engineers cert to get a road worthy.

Also the roady I'm trying to get was because of a canary. So I don't know if that has anything to do with regulations being tougher or whatever.

He says he already called vicroads to check, but still gonna call up and find out for myself tomorrow

Go to a different road worthy guy. Some pass coils some don't. It's a grey area.

Get a mobile guy to come and check it. My old VR6 got through with a torn steering rack boot, missing rear wiper and various other issues.

THen I bought my new one and whoever did that roadworthy completely ignored the gearbox oil leak, bald tires and wheel spacers...

Just a natter if finding the right guy if you NEED a roadworthy. If you just want to know whats wrong with the car, sure, go to a legit one haha.
