Where is this oil leaking from?

Poking around the engine and found what looks to be a small puddle of oil just below the engine on the bottom right.
If it helps there looks to be two sensors and their wirings that look very oily in that area.
sorry for posting so much lately but I have no knowledge of this car and cars in general so I really appreciate all the replies

sounds like the oil filter housing maybe? You might need to do the washers on the housing and the seal between the housing and the block. It looks like a figure of 8 and vw charge 25 bucks for it.... But mine was leaking there and replacing that seal fixed it up.

That looks like it could be a mixture of coolant (coming from the thermostat and sensor housing) and oil leaking from the cam cover gasket.

I've found that something has been opened before because there are lots of "new" (blue tint) looking screws around the engine. I actually found a loose one lodged at the back. So something was done but not sure what.

looks more like coolant than oil. white marks on the housing suggest that also...
