Who's got the Blue VR6 Mk3 2 door in Taree?!

Hey Guys,
I feel like some kind of intruder into your Mk3 Golfing space being an Ibiza owner and all, but when I was at work a few weeks back I saw a golf with a vwwatercooled sticker on it's rear window and I've been damn curious ever since because they're aren't many of us where I live on the mid north coast! (as far as I know)

It was 3 door, metallic blue (from memory - the really nice Mk3 Metallic Blue/Grey?Not Too Dark kind of Blue), It had a pair of BBS rims on the front, and some similar sized 5 or 6 spokes on the rear, a whole bunch of other stickers on the rear window and a VR6 badge on the front grill (confusing) and it was also lowered. Finally - I saw it in Taree, multiple times parked near Manning Mall!

So does it belong to someone on the forum, or was it sold to an unknowing person in the area?

Pretty sure Golf Loon built a blue one years back, it was on here for sale for a while, the guy used to track it on occasion, sure people will have links etc, I'll try and dig up a pic. Most likely the same one.

Oh and Seat owners always welcome, we can cross shop we each other and VRs go in Seats as nicely as ABFs go in Mk3s.

I haven't seen this one around mate, did see a Vento at Supercheap auto about 2 weeks ago though, looked like it needed a bit of loving though......I'm only fairly new to this golf/vento stuff but I thought it had a VR6 badge on it?

Most likely a B4 Passat VR6 if it had a VR6 badge, but not impossible.

I just found pics of that one in Tassie and i don't think this is it woody, too many colour coded bits, different badges, super dark window tint plus a lot more.

That's the vr6 we built a few years back. It's a beast too, has cams and headwork I think. Flies. Belongs to a bloke in Taree. He will never sell, he loves it.

It was made from a straight nice colour 2 door and got full vr6 treatment. 16v Cupra seats inside. It had roof racks on when I got it, so roof was painted and colour coded sides trips and spoiler at same time. Damn good car.
