  • fitting electric window reg issues... Any advice?

    Hi all,
Installing a replacement window reg and motor on my drivers front and for some reason, every time i go to send the window back up to close, it seems to be getting jammed half way up. It seems to be getting caught on or pulling one of the cables on the way up. After 20 attempts of unfitting and refitting, Still keeps ding the same thing. I'm baffled as to how it is catching the cable.
Anyone experienced this before? any advice appreciated....

Hey mate, thanks for this. to confirm, when you say fitted loose, you mean not doing anything up at all or screwing rails and motor in and leaving the clamps loose that hold the window in? I guess worse case, ill keep the clamps up as high as possible so i can acces them and then drop the window in and try that?

      Thanks again,
