question regarding electric window motors

Hey all, i know that this is a dumb question but thought id ask, my understanding is that electric window motors cant be swapped from L to R? ie.. can the motor from the front drivers be used in the front passengers or are they shapped specific to each side? i know the regs are but wasnt sure about motors.

i'd say no, it would need to be a mirror image for L to R. The winder is one sided

gotchya. the motors are a mirror copy of each other .. pitty, had one that is good that i could have used but for the opposite side
