If they drive Japanese cars (which they probably do) you need to remind them that:

a) Japan was also part of the "Axis" powers during WW2 which was a group of nations that also included Italy and NAZI Germany which all declared war simultaneously.

b) Japan committed many atrocities during WW2 including starving Allied POWs to death, beheading them whenever they felt like it and the "Rape of Nanking" which involved the mass murder of 200 000 civilians in 2 weeks. (an act for which they have never apologised, nor even recognised)

c) The Japanese Army forced women from all over their conquered territories into unpaid sexual slavery for the amusement of Japanese soldiers. (Some as young as 12)

If they drive a Holden or a Ford;

a) Holdens are poorly built ****boxes

b) Fords are poorly built ****boxes

Probably the best comeback would be to ask them if they ever use flyspray or rat poision, if they do:

a) Rat poison was originally made by Bayer who supplied the stuff to the Nazi death camps to gas the Jews.

b) Fly spray was invented by Bayer; see above.

If they're stupid enough to drive an American car....well all you have to say here is:

a) "George W Bush"

If they drive a Korean car they've been punished enough and deserve all the sympathy you can muster.

Alternatively I would just say:

a) "Yeah, Hitler did some nasty ****, he killled 6 million Jews, 21 million Russians, invaded and destroyed half of Europe but he made a damn good car!"
