Hello all, be nice to the newbie

I bought this beast two weeks ago, today. Found her online by accident; went to pay a visit and fell in love
I came across the golf's to begin with also by accident one morning, reading the paper waiting for a friend. I looked down and saw an attractive black car and furthered my interest ...

I'm still in the learning to drive phase but going greatly. Test is booked for May, so practice practice practice. I'm a mature aged student, spent 24 years being a passenger and watching/learning how to drive. Paid off for sure!

Would it be classed as a Mk3? I checked a few sites/images and decided it to be a mk3 ... 1994 golf gl. Let me know if I'm incorrect =)

So yeah now my life has been golfed!

Hello fellow WA dubber. I saw ur post on Vortex. Welcome to VWW.

And yes, that's a Mark III. Great little cars as I'm sure everyone in this forum would agree.

    Couple of WA cruise pics...

Welcome to VWW. As the others have said, nice MK3 you have there. One of the not so common colours and I really like it
I am also a bit of a newbie to this site, but the guys here are really friendly and helpful so dont be afraid to ask silly questions!

Ooo thanks for all the welcomes
The colour blue is rather striking; I'd say pleasing on the eyes?

I'd defiantly be up for being the first l'er on a drive. Learning experience and a half. Just need someone (legal) to be my passenger

I must get out there asap and take more pictures of the beast!

One small problem I have with the golf is that it has a slow drip of oil from the sump.

Is this of a concern or should I just keep on what I'm doing and check the oil frequently? I would like to get it fixed one day but I'm guessing it's not an easy task? A job for the pros, when she is next due for a service.

This is the only problem she has, which is fairly good!

If a small oil leak is all your problems, this is indeed a blessing

100%! Mate you're lucky if that's all, wow!

Mine and probably everyone else's leaks a bit of oil. They're older cars, what can you do?
