Is it possible to transplant the trailer hitch from one Mk3 to another?

My '95 diesel Mk3 came with a factory-installed trailer hitch. There aren't so many Mk3 with hitches around, so I'm planning to transplant the one I have to the next mk3 I'm about to buy. Is it doable without having to weld?

I am pretty certain it'll just bolt on. Most likely into the bumper mounts.
