Hey all, just a helpful hint if you want to bypass your heater core until you can get it fixed. A lot of people struggle to get the right part/fitting to bypass the heater core. I personally went to Des Mundays (An Engineering Supplies Shop) to get a 3/4 Inch Right Angled Barbed Brass Fitting. Perfect part for the job.
A lot of thread's I have seen have just use plastic fitting's which will fail fairly quickly and are not rated for this application. Most are only rated for 60 degrees celsius.
So if you are looking for this part find your closest Engineering Supplies Shop rather than a plumbing store / Bunnings / Supercheap or what have you.
