I have a 1995 Caravelle 2.5 ACU which has a broken heater core. Was driving with the kids and had the A/C running when a burst of steam started rushing through the vents and smell of coolant...a bit of a scare! Anyway, I have taken out the dashboard and got to the offending unit....

Hey all, just a helpful hint if you want to bypass your heater core until you can get it fixed. A lot of people struggle to get the right part/fitting to bypass the heater core. I personally went to Des Mundays (An Engineering Supplies Shop) to get a 3/4 Inch Right Angled Barbed Brass Fitting. Perfect...
