  • Cleaning the inside of front indicators?

Just want to know if it is possible to clean the inside of my front indicators...

Mine have gotten pretty grubby on the inside for some reason and just wanted to ask if removing the plastic lense is the same as when you joey mod the headlights. Bung in oven etc and reseal.

    Cheers.

I use to clean the inside of headlights with soapy water [warmish] and a small bottle brush with those wiry handles. shook it up with all that soapy water in it and then blasted it with the garden hose let it dry in the sun and voila!!! clean units!

^ as above. even some wire tinsel will work wonders.

okay, so I tried the above method but to no avail. The first stumbling block was that inside my indicator theres and orange perspex bit and then a clear lens on top of that but it's sealed separately to the orange casing thing (I've got the clear indicators off the cabrio?)

Looks like I might have to take them apart.
