Short shifter kit?

Can anyone recommend a brand (if they've used one)? I'm just a tad sick of having a good 10km throw between gears in my dog box 1.8l

I did o2j from mk4 > hacksaw > diesel geek sigma 5. I don't think I could live with it being any shorter.

Not sure if they're suitable for non vr6 though.

There's plenty of manufactured SS kits still available for the 8v. Neuspeed is one that pops to mind.
