  • AGG running cold on highway... sensor query.

    Hey all.

I have a '97 III GL with the AGG, it runs fine to and from work (inner subs Melb stop-start), but get a little run on, or get onto a highway, and the temp gauge drops right down.

At this time the little fella gets a little unhappy - won't rev past about 3k, uses way too much fuel, and runs quite rough - particularly from about 2700 up, and responds badly to partial throttle openings.

I've done a little research, and it's obviously a sticky thermostat (which looks like an ever-so-much-fun install), but I figure it's probably also good form to replace the water temp sensor while I'm there - but I'm confused... I find two parts... one a four pole, the other a single pole. Part Numbers: 1H0919563, and 025906041A.

    Which one is it?

    Cheers
