  • Good, passionate repairer in Brisbane

    Hey Guys
I have been thinking of getting rid of my VR6 lately. I love the car but its getting onto 20 years old and needs constant love and attention. While I am capable and willing to do the work I am probably a bit older then most of you guys and I really lack time.

I really want to hang onto the car but I have decided that I will now need to outsource the maintenance work. I have taken it around to a few places now but mechanics seem reluctant to take on the work. I think they are all looking to change an oil filter on a brand new car rather than diagnose and solve issues on an old car.

To cut a long story does anyone know a good and professional repairer in Brisbane ?
I have a job ready to go now, I need the air con condenser changed. I almost went to the local Toyota dealer to buy a GT86 but have decided I am happy to put some money into the old golf as when its going well its still a great car.

So do you have a great repair guy you use ? Please let me know.

    Any help appreciated.

Try Laurence at German Autos Geebung.
He knows them inside and out, he actually bought a VR6 from a forum members on who killed his with oil starvation on the track.

Jmac is who your after !
He's on here aswell, has years of experience on these cars (and I mean he really knows he's stuff, there's lots of people on here who can testament to he's work), and is most likely to be cheaper than any other because he's a privately owned business.
