    Pre-Purchase Advice

Haha I was actually looking at that car, found it last night. Was going to go test drive it next week, because I live in Newcastle. It's damn cheap, was going to use as a daily.

I live on the north shore. Ive been everywhere with my vr6 and the only shop I trust with it anymore is my mechanic in waitara (forgot the shop name if you like I can send it to you). Everyone else such as Camden have been nothing but trouble for me.

That would be great! Thanks Dubba! Waitara is only five mins away, so that's convenient.

Daniel at Advance Tyre and more (near the bluegum)

He replaced my auto vr6 gearbox for 2.3k with 1 year warranty (everyone else in sydney was quoting 4k-11k) and has done a lot more work on the vr6 before then which I've been very happy with.

Say the guy with the red vr6 sent you and just ask him and get a quote and see if you like it.

I'll definitely do that! Thanks again, Dubba!

Went to check-out the car today. The engine sounded fantastic, started first time and wasn't missing a beat! The interior was also in very good condition for its age. Unfortunately, what they don't mention in the ad (or over the phone) is that the left-hand side of the car is a bit damaged. It looks as if the pervious owner hit some low object which as a result has scraped and dented the entire length of the door sill on the passenger side of the car. The left-rear door was also mis-aligned.

Apart from that, a mechanically sound, great little car! It's just that the repair costs would be more than what the car was worth.

If anyone is still interested in the car, I purchased the CarFacts report, so just PM me with your email address and I'm more than happy to send it to you.

I'm still on the hunt for another Mk3!

                  Thanks for your help, Guys!
