  • I think it's electrical...

Car has been overheating while driving around, however the fans dont come on.
    It's really frustrating gaaah

I took it to a mechanic and the suggested that it was electrical... are they on the right track?

    thanks

if the cooling system is fine then the fan control module is most likely the cause.

its under the expansion tank. does your ac work?

Usually it's the fan switch, sometimes the actual fan it's self
or as some have said, the control module.
It quite easy to test if it's the fan switch though. pull the connector out, get a piece of wire (make sure the wire is insulated) and joint two of the terminals and it'll fire away.
I'll post up later which two terminals carnt remember rite now.

          thanks for the feedback

I was considering just taking it into an electrition to save both hassle and to save breaking something (bound to happen knowing me)

            its your fan control module.

the ac being intermittent proves this.

            easy fix.
