Hi, so i bought a vento

going to be my daily so no engine mods, i bought this car of lawrence, a vww member here
after some cleaning and roadworthy and rego i put coilovers (thank you evorobin!) on it so i dont have any pics of standard height except for the sale pics...

pics of coilovers! when lowered normally ride pretty good for what you pay for.

morning after i lowered it, i cut the bumpstops before i put them in but they still bottomed out....

i went to pick a part for a roadworthy item when i spotted a 4 door mk3 in the same color as my car! yoink!
this is prob the only pic i have of my car when it was standard

these amongst a few other things will be sprayed this weekend and fitted to the car

bought these parts for it, top is rear window spoiler, middle is a mattig eyebrow spoiler and badgeless grill which are also getting painted ill also be smoothing the textured bumper tops and color coding them

also bought smoked fog lights and clear smoked indicators and joey mod my headlights

my latest arrival is my ABT Textured side skirts and coming soon is a new mk3 CL duckbill spoiler and smaller u.s rear numberplate tub

    some misc photos

i have a tinted a set of headlights but i scored some red tint spray and painted my ****ty spare set of tail lights... i might get a good set of factory light and make them all red properly

wheels will come... eventually... ive got 17x8 n 9 BBS RS's but i still need to build them a little more

ill take some decent pics when everything is fitted..... and update when i can

    thanks dom

I got it from the states, basically i had a spare i offered to swap for a u.s spec one..
Owner pays postage to new home n thats it..... there arnet many guys interested in swapping as our numberplates make wider holes than the u.s plates can cover..... its great for us but not so good swap for them unless its brand new.....

Hopefully have a rs's apart over the weekend and sandblasted.... still need to get lips n other things though.... still an update haha

Come on Joe, yours is no longer a mere Vento. Volksborghini is a fitting name for such a godlike vehicle.

haha sure, (oops, don't mean to hijack every Vento thread I promise, just get a little over excited when someone else feels the love)

WABIT any ideas for wheels in the interim? RS would blow some heads with coolness. Already digging the dual pipes and taillights.
