rear disc conversion isn't overly hard, although only worth doing if you're changing to 5 stud (which unless you're dropping a vr6 motor and need to for registration reasons, i don't really see the point). I did it on my old car, but did have a vr6 wreck I pulled all the bits off. Anyway, keen to see what becomes of this car

That's exactly my reasoning too - I'm in no rush and have no plans to drop a bigger engine in at this point in time so drums will more than do the job. I'm trying so hard to keep the wheels I want a secret!! I think most of you guys would like them

A delete would be an option but I like tuning in to Triple J on the odd occasion. Might just lop it off for now, it's like 4m long...

Yeah, I think I might just turn it into a stub soonish. Having a 4m long clothes hanger poking out the fender of the car isn't that attractive but I'm sure it adds 20kw

paint your brake callipers red man. It adds an extra 20 kw. And the drum brakes too.

But then I'll be giving the impression that my car goes fast... Which is certainly does not

Did some inspecting/fiddling with the antenna on the car this afternoon. Came to the conclusion that I don't have a telescopic antenna but I am having trouble unscrewing it /: will crank out the pliers when the weather clears and my bank account gets flooded again (two weeks till payday)

Did a simple wiper blade replacement today at a very cheap cost and considering the weather and the state that my previous blades were in, they really needed replacing.

Now in regards to the antenna, I've noticed I'm missing the rubber grommet which "holds" the fender mounted antenna in place but I'm also concerned if my antenna is the original because it certainly doesn't look like it.

Now, despite all that and after hours of searching the 'tex forums, I have stumbled across a neat little site which specialises in OEM and aftermarket antennas! Once I get paid, this will probably be my first little "mod" for the car but for anyone else interested in fixing their antenna at a reasonable price, here's the link.

Also, I'm missing the plugs for the windscreen gutter; can they be bought off ebay or?

I recently did wiper blades too Mine were shuddering. Such a good cheap thing that improves how you feel about the car hey.

I had to go and get those plugs from a wrecker today as well. Im assuming you mean the black ones with a phillips head screw slot on them? They always break. Didn't bother checking ebay but they were 3 bucks at the wrecker.

For a cheap little fix it makes you so much more happier about the overall feel of the car. Noisy wiper blades are not fun to listen to!

Yes! Those little plugs! I'm missing two of them (centre and mid-passenger side) and the gutter isn't staying down but I'll have a check on ebay before I head to the wreckers.
