How do you even drive!?
But seriously, looks sick! Specs on wheels?
Better not be the ones I was trying to buy ages ago
Haha, I'll do an update later this evening on whats going on...
Wheels specs are 17x7.5+48 with a 15mm spacer on front (+33 final) and 25mm out back (+23 final) Could tuck more on the rear with less tyre and like a couple mm's less on the spacer.
So yesterday Anthony and Hayden came down from up the coast to help install some goodies. Anthony has a nice MkV.
After a really really quick chat, the car was on jack-stands and all of them JOM's were removed.
Ew, JOM's
Then after a while these babies were installed on all four corners
While Anthony was sorting out lines, Hayden helped with putting a new bonnet on to accommodate the Morette's Billy sent me Cheers Billy. Then, after another short while all the lines were in, gauges all in and it was time to put the car on the floor and grab some lunch!
After lunch we discovered a tiny minuscule leak from one of the gauge fittings but we soon fixed it, wired up the gauge lights and had fun making O-ring terminals with no o-rings! Everything was sorted, so for it's first test drive we took her up to the rooftop carpark down the road and took some photos.
Can technically drive completely aired out but I will need pump my guards like a mo'fo. Tank setup in the boot is just rolling around in the moment and not properly secured but that and a fitting for the gauges will be my little project for the upcoming weeks.
