Searching for automatic mk3 golf in Gold Coast Queensland.

I'm looking for any kind of MK3 golf automatic. Needs to be around $3000 to $4000 maybe a bit more.

Make sure you need an auto box.
That generation 4 speed autos do not show the Mk3 at anything like best performance.

There appear also to be a few different boxes depending on year, some being much better than others, so you might want to look at that, and the identifying features. /http://zelek.com/diagram_charts/diagramlist.htm/ shows some choices.

We have a CKZ box, which has been rebuilt after 130,000k and is ready to go again, judging by how long it takes the mice to warm to the task. They get identified by type of filler plug I believe, cant recall how we sussed ours. Apparently they are one to avoid.
