Thanks so much pimpossible, I also put my jack under it to get it as far up as possible when I installed it but still no luck im close to just giving up! The guys from Ultra tune also said something is wrong. If anyone is the Wantirna (Vic, 3152) area and wouldnt mind giving me a hand I would greatly appreciate it, and will pay you if we can get this thing sorted.

Correct, before you stick it all in the car and bolt on that pressed steel cup that stops it all falling out. If you don't have the thread, which you don't, then the problem would be the way you have it assembled or there just isn't enough thread there at all.

Compare the length of thread on a std strut, with the coil overs, be a couple of mm difference max.

Thanks again for your reply h100vw, I checked the thread before I installed it (From memory) and they where exactly the same size, its defs something I did wrong I doubt I would have been sent the wrong coilovers. Its prob gonna be something small that I didnt even notice. When I did that bolt Im pretty sure I did it as far down as possible!

                Thanks again everyone

                  Urgent Coilover help needed please

While waiting for a friendly fellow dubber to help me out I decided to have another crack at it and got it right!!! I had my order wrong. I placed the nut first then the bearing over it when it should have been the other way around. Now I have all the strut bolt poke I need!

That was the old setup that did not work. By swapping the order if the nut and bearing its all good now

This is what worked. And the final result

                      and that's not 100% tightened.

Thanks for all the help guys!

Good job mate! Best to do one side at a time, then you have a reference if it doesn't go right. Second option, ETKA parts catalogue off ebay for break downs.
