Go buy a door from the wreckers as well. There are plenty of Green GL and CLs around, shouldnt be too hard finding one that matches your colour!

I know i really want to! but i have 3 cars! haha and so little mulla

Anyone wanna express what they think its worth in their opinion? I think i need some reassurance that i bought it for a right/decent price!

Give us a run down if you want an approximate price. ABS light on? Check the it just hasnt had the bulb removed. Should come on then go off. Chains rattly?? hold revs around idle - 1200rpm and if you hear a harmonic style rattle on the gearbox side of the engine it means they are probably a bit loose... Clutch?? ANy idea when it was last done? Rego'd or unregod? Aircon working? Heatercore working? Any service record?

Chains, ABS and clutch are the main killers. can cost 1.5-2 grand, 1 grand and 1 grand respectively.

Yeh that's fair enough, well there is no ABS light on when the car is running, She holds revs really well, the main positive is the engine its very smooth and doesnt rattle, it has ~ 180 on the clock. Cluch feels good, same as my mk2 which is fine, and the negatives are mainly the interior aparts from the dash, seats are full of cat hair as is carpet. Ill be giving it a service for oil and oil filter and just for check ups and whatnot soon. Unfortunately the AC doesn't work!! i have 3 cars! And not 1 has AC! wth! It does not have a service record although that would be awesome

So the light turns on when you turn on ignition and then turns off?? Good signs if there aren't any rattles. Might mean that it has had the chains done some time in the past. Interior is an easy fix as is that door and rear bumper if you go find another green wreck. Interior bits a quite cheap anyway. Get a hold of a rug doctor and that'll bring up the interior awesome. Make sure you do the tx valve and reciever drier along with the compressor if that's what has failed (quite and expensive job, ben j up here in briso has a spare compressor so send him a pm, he'll do it way cheaper than anyone else). Otherwise once all that's done its a pretty clean/ mint vr.maybe looking at 5k rego'd with those klms. Only issue is that its not the most popular colour.

ALRYT! so iv'e decided to keep her!! Cant wait to get the roady sorted and start driving it!
need some decent tyres to start off with, that's the main thing for the time being i guess.
Will probably axe this thread and star a proper one in a coupe of weeks. Cheers for the advice and help so far guys.
