Pretty simple, just leave the heat gun on the area for a few seconds until it just begins to melt, then all the oil and crap that's built up gets expelled and the plastic looks brand new again!
Dropped the golf down to the local exhaust shop today, got them to fit a JOM muffler I ordered through Autoslick and just have straight pipe running between the cat and the muffler. Pretty happy with the sound, such a good improvement!
The muffler was $300 shipped from Germany through Autoslick, and it was $200 to get the guys down at the exhaust shop to fabricate up the rest of the system.
Is there a lot of drone in the cabin? I had mine done recently but had a hotdog and resonator installed as well - 0 drone when windows are up, fairly loud and noticeable when windows are down. Although, from the outside, you can hear my car clearly
Have only taken it for a quick spin around a few blocks this afternoon with the windows down, I'm yet to drive it with them up haha It's not too loud at all, but sooooo much better than the old exhaust which had burnt a hole through the bumper and had about 5 million leaks!
oooooh! yeah, that was kinda like mine - I had millions of pieces of Cat-converter throughout my exhaust and you stunk of petrol everytime you went for a drive /:
