  • Check up on gumtree (because it became a habit) and 3 new VR6s have popped up in like one day... All seem clean as and each for a decent price. White one is $1800 and looks like its in decent nick 178xxx, just needs a new guard. And the red one is a steal.... 128xxxklms, leather, unmodded and looks like its in perfect condition. Someone in SA go and have a look!

That is pretty cheap! Just better hope it isn't the shattering type.
If you can twist it like licorice it's good. I reversed into my driveway wearing a cheap deep lip and it shattered and literally flew across the road hahaha

the only ones that don't shatter are the oem ones. And you wony be getting one of those fir $35. Although you could buy like 10 of the cheap ones and replace when they break for the price of a real one haha

See. You read this. But my cheapie from Albania or Bolivia can't remember. Has hit just about everything. Hardest thing I remember of hand was a large rock on the freeway and is fine. I always sat on it going in and out of driveways and it never shattered..

I even drove over it. The tabs didn't even break

                  • So my car decided to lose power while driving... managed to roll-start it off the main road. Thought it might've been a dodgy fuel filter so got a brand new one from home, jacked the car up on the side of the road and off we went.

                    It wasn't the fuel filter

                      • Might be. Before I got on the road, the car cranked and started but struggled to hold revs for a moment, then bounced up to about 1.5k and stabilised. After that while on the road it seemed to struggle while taking off from stops until eventually it stalled out and wouldn't start. Seemed like petrol wasn't getting through which is why I assumed it could be the fuel filter/pump. Going to have to investigate tomorrow with some daylight but I reckon it could be something electrical. ):
