Re: MK3 Random Thread
Just ride the bumpstops lol.
I'll probably spend my tool allowance from my apprenticeship on new wheels, jus' sayin'. If those red borbets aren't sold by the time I get the money, I'll buy them.'95 Golf 3dr... low. slow. loud.

They would look the absolute tits on your car. Paint them all different colours to match your steering wheel.

9et 15 will be a bit over the top. Not even sure you could save it with camber.

Sorry this harlequin was the car I was thinking of. Owner says the fronts were et20 not 15.
Another thread
Too much poke for me but people do it. Would it be possible to machine the mounting face down 5mm for the fronts. Although personally I'd just buy a new set from tunershop in staggered 7.5 and 9 not a whole lot more and they're brand new.

I think it can be done lolOriginally posted by Water Boy View PostMexi-poke on the front much? Bit wild for a Mk3.
Those strut top camber kits should help increase the camber a bit and reduce the poke...then the question is how close the inner rim will get to the coilovers. I must do some measurements...Originally posted by ffoff View Post9et 15 will be a bit over the top. Not even sure you could save it with camber.
I have also seen it on vortex...mexipoke style though. The only tyres that ate always available are 195/45, anything narrower than that would just look stupid.Originally posted by anthony--t View Post16x9 et15 have been done all round by some people on vortex. With a good guard roll and pull with camber and stretch it can be done.
I've still got some thinking to do.'95 Golf 3dr... low. slow. loud.
