Since i didn't drive i was the official photographer for our trip so i thought i'd do a little write up for our adventure.
Saturday morning 9:00am, Sam and brad rolled up picked me up on a mountainous street.
We stopped for a generous lunch break in Gundagai.
Got some cool rollers before stopped again. I took more, they will be pic whore thread.
Sam and I's entertainment for the trip was a crack in his windshield slowly dancing across.
At one point it got so hot in the cars the lollies melted into one big clump of sticky annoyingness.
We got to melbourne at about 8:00ish the sun was just on it's way down.
Sunday morning, show day. We were up at 7:00 to meet Anthony, Cam and Ray. We did some modifications like fixing brads mexipoke, and dropping coils.
After with got the car show ready we proceeded to find the others, which was an adventure winding through traffic.
We stopped for some cool photos of course.
Got to the show, it was great fun meeting people seeing rad cars.
My favourite was this Passat.
Anyway, we got back on the road again.
^^^ My Favourite photo from the Weekend ^^^
We stopped for lunch and put coils up make the drive home somewhat comfortable. Also stopped for more photos.
Then we were off from our last serious stop. I remember this photo well, hanging out the window at 120km on a bumpy ****ty road. It was a experience.
Coming into a little town on the highway the road got a little crazy and Brad bottomed out pretty bad, the road grinded his sump plug flat. Luckly no cracked sump but a hell of a spark show Sam said.
Last fuel stop for me in Gundagai again at the Dog on the Tuckerbox.
We drove from there to bowral to pick my car up and say our goodbyes, we were talking about how drama free this trip has been and of course while i was showing them back to the highway, a highway patrol officer pulled us over.
We all got defected.....
Apart from that i had a great weekend, lots of fun, lots of sweet cars. I would defiantly do it again.
