Window Regulators or clips

Hi there,

My back left rear window just dropped. Something is amiss inside, probably the motor or cable (prone to failing).

Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get it back up again??? Theres a bit sticking out and i've tried to pull it up without luck.

Would really appreciate any ideas on a quick fix.

Cupras don't have opening rear windows !!
If it was a Golf 3 you would need to remove the door panel and remove the broken cable system then either replace it with a new one or hold the glass up with a piece of timber cut to size.Dealer prices on new ones are quite reasonable.

will pull it apart tomorrow, sigh
