    I've got to vent.

What annoy's me sometime's is people like this are breaking new ground & trying something different & alot of you bag them.

They are also stepping outside the worldly VW box & not following trend's that some of you on here have fallen into & think its cool, but has been around for long enough to have been beaten ito the ground 10 fold. I'm guilty of this too.

This stuff is not all to my taste or style, even some of the car's on here aren't to my liking, but I keep my mouth shut because at the end of the day it shouldn't matter what I think, but more it's what I want to do, it's what I like. Even I enjoy doing this.

My hat goes off to people like this. These people are called innovator's

Imagine what everyone said the first time they put a 16V or even VR6 into a mk1. Or even a ground up rebuild for that matter. "What a waist of time & money!" "To much effort!" "What an idiot" The list goes on & on & on.

ah its just a discussion... thats why its a thread and not just an article. nothign wrong with people calling something a piece of crap if they want to... not as though the guys who built it are on here.

They share the love of VW, they enjoy modifing cars and thats what counts...

As i said with my last Mk3 that caused an uproar bring it on...

Imagine if everyone ran BBS's, KW's and Shrick VGI's... Boring

In some cases I would agree and say hats off..but seriously! I can't find anything in me to persuade my thoughts - it looks horrible, even unstable, and I can't see the gain. Steve, if you had the chance to kick it, it would tip over easier than a one legged man! But hey, I'll admit it; it is different...

that ones cool if it goes like stink. If not i dont get it either.

My first car was an old XY falcon. It was a bit rusty but it had a nice fresh 302 windsor in it. I rattle canned it matte black and we wrote "I kill children" backwards in the dust on the front bumper. Was that cool in the same kinda way? It certainly was a fave amongst my friends!
