Then u reroute ur antenna wire, not sure the best place to do it but i would run it down a pillar then onto the floor side mouldings then to the dash. Is it worth it? Prob not to me...
Thanks that's what I was after...
Probably not worth it i reckon.. but I like the look of the roof mounted antennas alot.. are there an "dummy" antennas available that are just stick ons?

Pretty much the only reason you dont have an aerial in ur front left is because one day the vr6 was going soo fast the aerial caused soo much drag it ripped the whole panel out and the people repairing it decided that if they put it back there it would happen again so they gave it a bee-sting.

but seriously, whats the best way to remove your stupid bee-sting. who needs the radio haha. is bondo crap + primer + paint the best way?

Id much rather an aerial in my front guard than a bloody hole in my roof. Damn late model Mk3 and their silly little changes

I have a '97 build Mk3 if you havnt realised

ill trade ya james for mine. i think the fender aerial is stupid and ugly, reception isnt great esp when i go further west for work. looks better on the roof too! i think the only way to remove a roof aerial is to get the hole welded up, that way theres no possibility of it cracking.
