Lol the thing was I didn't think I was speeding
There was a ute that flew past me

Copper told me I'm under arrest and going to be held in remand
I question him about the ute but he said I've been recorded I said ok please show it to me I want to see it
He said I have to wait until the footage has been downloaded and processed

I keeped pressuring him about the ute, told me to shut up so I did
Came back and said ok sorry about the mix up only getting a fine

Spoke to a barrister and he told me the copper should have shown my the footage when requested to do so
So now I'm heading to court and the barrister has built up a really strong case for me
Said I would get my licence back

But. You were speeding. But someone in a 'ute' was speeding more?

There's no way you contest that if that is the case. You were caught speeding.

I've got done before and I know I was wrong that's why I just paid the fine and copped the suspension

This one would be contested got evidence it couldn't have been me speeding

When I read this initially, I read it as an admission of guilt, hence my post condemning your actions.
I really would caution, in future, posting anything like your above statement on an open and public forum.

fault in police radar gun, i think the wider commnunity should be made aware of this fault. this would make an awesome "today tonight" story.
i wonder how many other innocent speeders have gotten fined and lost their licence from this fault
