Hey guys, I'm after manual window regulators and handles and anything else needed for a swap. I got a quote from the dealership(I know I know) and it was about $380 for both front windows. I only asked them because last time I needed something I was piss farting around too much and want it done ASAP. So anyone with these parts for sale let me know ill prob buy them straight away....depending on the price
why do you want manual when you have automatic?? you'll need to cut holes in your door cards for the winder then :/ I have a complete set from my parted car if you're keen anyway....
:EDIT: also, you should come out more to meets or contribute more over here! lol, I know Graeme who was a previous owner of your vr and I hope it's in the same condition as when he sold it :p haha, I know that guy is meticulous with his cars

Klu klux klan VR6 I've tried a few of those, Brisbane ain't no town for no Euro bohy, so you best take them fancy germing cars back to one of them queero states where they have them skinny jeans and that FM radio, we don't accept their kind up here. Obviously I can get a newbie, but I'm on mk3 sort of money, and that's Mk5 sort of thinking, and yeah have called around, most VRs seem to get chopped in backyards these days.
Got about 3 Mk3s in the yard we are wrecking. One even has wind up windows.

Pretty sure if your regulators keep screwing up, then that means they arent being installed correctly, well thats what ive learnt through my experience.
And if the motor keeps giving up could be due to over currents or bad earthing.
Food for thought, forgotten all my electronic stuff but, in a electrical network the earth wire keeps the system balanced, if that earth wire was to break, the system then becomes unbalanced, and then you get overcurrents an undercurrents.
The overcurrent will screw the motor up.
Well I know a bit about cars( was an apprentice at a performance workshop) but electrics is my weak point! The front regulators are different, one has like an adapter cable or something.... Don't want to take it to a workshop if its something simple.
