^ I agree with all of you. Unfortunately I have other priorities that the funds are used more wisely on. I am not usually one to buy replica or fake items, and trust me fakes are not my first preference. It's nice to have the real thing but unfortunately it's not always practical.

In my world. I love the Mk3 Golf shape, I love the BBS RS look. With Wheels, Tyres, Coilovers and body work included this car will only owe me around 5.5 grand. I am not willing to rock wheels that are just about worth more than the car itself.

Sorry to disappoint everyone but unfortunately it's reality.

My car my way your car your way.

lol, well I could jump on the band wagon too but i'll simply plead for you not to put bbs stickers on them.... for the people that would care for the fact they're bbs, they'd be able to pick from a mile they're not....

other then that, it's a cool looking thing already, will you be getting to any meets?....

also, there shouldn't be much need for camber, i'm running 16x9 +30 (your's being only 3mm more aggressive) and they only poke ~5mm at the front with no camber rears you'll **** in.....

I totally agree with this, just get VW decals or something. That way people won't think you're trying too hard lol.... Coming from me who put borbet stickers on fakes haha.

Haha yeah I know the fake BBS stickers is pretty poor... Might get VW ones instead... I just erk at the thought of Jap writting on a euro car lol. Almost as bad as fake BBS wheels...

And yeah I am pretty sure the fitment won't disappoint too much, i was considering spacing the rears 5mm or so as well to get them to sit flush if need be.

How much work have you had done to your guards to get them not to rub? Also what kind of height are you at?

In terms of meets, I guess it's never really been a high priority due to other hobbies... I guess if she turns out well I might lurk around...

If you're paying 1200 for wheels alone, you could have gotten legit RS's from japan, adapters from the US for less. Just saying.

Haha I know I know... I am paying about 800 for the wheels. Which to me is a steal considering they are brand new with warranty. I realise there are other avenues I could have taken.

I will however have a look at ebay.jp and see what is available... I do agree with what everyone is saying...

I bought my porsche D90's for a few hundred bucks. All about being patient and waiting for a good deal.
