Mk3 Vr6 TWO DOOR !!

Hey guys, jamie here.
used to have a mk5 tdi that was on here.

just picked up a green 2 door with a vr6 conversion done at camden gti. Has been for sale for a while.

Has KONI coilovers, front and rear strut braces, high flow cat and a few other bits and pieces.

plans are:

tidy the thing up, it needs a good scrub, detail, front shaved bumper needs to be painted.
decide whether to run rust or stock front end.
wheels.
fix right handbrake cable? any hints on how to do that????
2.5" cat back.
replace faded red leather sports seats with stock vr6 seats.
and whatever else i tinker with along the way.

ill let you guys know how i go!!

just wasnt feeling the mk2, needed lots of little things fixed up and ive had a sweet spot for vr's for a while now.
it is rust free except for the grille, which ill grab one this week.

the hunt for wheels begins.

Nothing better than a 2 door vr6 I can't wait to get mine finished up.

Whats wrong with the handbrake cable? Is it broken or siezed or just not adjusted properly? They're pretty easy to swap if need be, and you can adjust it by just taking off that piece of trim above the hand brake and tightening/loosening it up

They tried to adjust it. But they lost the cable down inside the holder. I have no idea how we could get that sucker out

Get under the car near where the cable hooks up to the rear brakes and feed it back threw. Takes 2mins.

I ordered new cables before reading this. Only 40 bucks. Might as well replace as It won't be hard.
