Hi guys, im after a set of front barks to upgrade my mk2 gti brakes to 256mm rotors, theres a vento at my local wrecker and my question is are the mk3 GL and the vento front brakes the same?

You mean are golf GL and vento brakes the same? I assume they would be, they run the exact same gearsigpic -
You'd assume all 2.0L, 4 studs run 256's.

No idea, I never checked what they were to be honest, although I'd guess it did run the same as the 2.0. I still have them sitting around, could have a look, could sell the calipers and rotos actually if someone wanted them, not sure how worn the rotors are though, really can't remember.
The Vento's are 2.0L's just like the golfs though, and as far as I'm aware, run the exact same gear.sigpicComment
