Another MK3 to add to the collection

Scored an nice clean MK3 today, knackered 020, surprise surprise. Anyway rest is really good, ive been putting together another old Gl i aquired a while back but bodily it had suffered a few prangs and the paintwork isnt great either. To top that its auto, was an 096 but i slammed an 01m in it. Anyway this new one came along and ill now break the GL. There will be a good few bits for sale soon, but will be putting the rear discs set up onto the CL and the drums from the Cl are going onto a MK1. Anyway as some know im doing a mega build on a 6N2 when i have time LOL, but plan to have this as my runner, parts gofer but plan to also tart it up. i also have this mad idea, i would love to put a V5 in it. Yeah my works cut out with the 6N2 and its mad too, i will finish it and love it so its a true keeper, but what the harm of having 2 mad cars?? none. For now itll be a clean Mk3 with some additions. If bits cross my path who knows whatll happen.
Ill post some pics soon too oh and there will be some good GL bits for sale soon guys including either a 2.0 engine or the 1.8, havent made my mind up yet. Might just run the 1.8 till the "other engine turns up. It never ends. Be a nice filler for some happy laps till the weapon is ready

Good to hear another mk3 is being brought back to life, especially when it's by the hands of someone such as yourself

I think the v5 in it would be awesome, something different to all the vr6's and such. Whatever you do with it though I'm sure it will be a bit of fun, would be nice to have another little mk3 out there at happy laps when I get mine back up to the stage that I'm happy to give it a flogging around the track again Mines been a bit lonely out there in the sea of mk5/6/9n3 gti's at the few its been to

Would love to Ben, and not sure whatll happen engine wise as my work is well and truley cut out with the Polo but who knows.
