  • Need help installing crack pipe

ok so i finally got around to installing the new cooling plastics and when i try to put the crack pipe in and tighten the other end on it doesn't seem to go in past the rubber seal on the block end .

im thinking its because its not quite going in straight

    because its hitting on this.

    any help would be great

also i can't move it down to much because it hits against the hose that comes out of the block to the oil cooler

Just did the crack pipe and thermostat housing last Sunday, Thought mine was catching but just gave it a wiggle, making sure it was in the correct orientation (outlets in the right position) and it all lined up easy. I guess just make sure everything is clean and correctly lined up. I also used a little bit of grease just to make sure none of the seals caught, or fell out/off.

I'm much happier now, no water leaks anymore!
