      nice solution!
      i was a bit late but was going to suggest a product called "gator grip" or something like that [not sure whether it is still available. basically an arm with a socket with sliding pins where the socket hole would be that moulded to whatever your bolt was. you basically slide the socket over your bolt and the pins wrap itself around the bolt

            What would you have done if the wheel wasn't expendable? E.g. MkIV R32 wheels from the dealer are now $1100.

                      What about loosening all the rest of the bolts a little and heating up the brake disc with a bit of fun driving?

                      Plan B.
                      a small handheld grinder to restore the flats on the bolt to a slightly smaller size.

                            not really a record compared to this thread that is still alive since 2002 - stories when filling up as a gasoline station (best for diesel owners)
