Mine is a GL, and it doesn't have rear seat headrests. Is this unusual?

Branko's in the VR6 prestige club now They had headrests, but yeah, GL standard seats had no rear headrests, so it's not unusual!

just pulled the rear wing of mine....

went into home hardwear looking for the plugs... they didnt have it, nor did they know wat the hell i was talkin about...

they did however point me in the direction of this stuff called quicksteel

baisically a seperated mixture like putty, you pull as mush as you need off, mix it together between your fingers and shove it in the hole.. then just get your finger and some water and smooth them over....

was in a rush so doesnt look spectacular, but i will fix it up later as it can be sanded down.....

so just waiting to see if it will leak in which case, the gaps between the rubber rings and the glass is going to get some attention

but it seems to be not as intrusive as the bolts. it just sits in the thickness of the glass so doesnt inhibit the brake light.

just another thing that seems to be a fix to a simple problem

more fun than it seems, MkIII

You can find the little "tree plugs" from places like Supercheap or REPCO or any other bigish auto shop. They are used for holding trims together (door cards etc) so easy to find.

If you want to remove the rear wiper and need to plug that hole up, use a round plastic plug that are often put inside the bottom of a stool/chair to stop it from scratching the floor. Ill get some pics up later of mine, works a treat

Lololol more like the cheapie auction feral VR6 club!! My old GL had head rests as well, I'm pretty sure the 96-97's had em'.

I used some generic building/gyprock plus where just too big to fit in just sanded them till they were in tighter than a nun's errr... anyways, I also had my plugs in the opposite way to other people with the small side poking out, it didn't look flush exactly but you didn't see much of the plug either...
