  • Sump gasket for a VR6

    HI,
i've been looking around on the web and can't find any sump gaskets for under $60 shipped. I rang up sprints and they only had a $199 bottom end kit so ill try Repco tomorrow, but is there some were to find just a sump gasket for a decent price?

Try germanautoparts (usa) mabey? Or imparts (an australian company) or golf loon (camden gti, another aus company)

Also try HSY Imports and Tooleys. Both based in Australia, and their prices are good.

If you're using sump gasket goo, make sure the surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying.

Lemme know which one you use and how it holds, I'm scared that generic sealant from Autobarn won't be adequate
