Fog lights

I would have thought the lights themselves would have been the same, just the switch being different because of the whole left hand drive thing.

Personally I don't know that I would ever bother with the two stage switch, especially not at $300 and probably not even at $80. After all if it's actually foggy then you probably want both on anyway

You will bother when the Police pull you over and you can't turn them off

I know this sounds crazy, but has anyone ever attempted to or successfully modded the back of their bumper or something to put some separate fog lights in? I've had this awesome idea of getting some normal or LED panels and carefully fitting them INTO my bumper..any thoughts?

Give it a go. Get yourself a soldering iron and start shaping things around. Get some plastic strips (the same plastic as your bumpers - polypropylene I think?) to weld in some bits.

since my diesel is a personal import - it has the 2 tage switch standard, with front foggies and duel rears.

i must admit, i use them nearly all the time since my aftermarked headlights have rubbish low beams. the front bulbs are not very bright however, and after following several police cars with them on im sure they are of no legal concern. they do help light up the sides of the road though. i love em.
