Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • My Old Mk3.........................Dead :(

Ive missed my mk3 ever since selling and have always wondered how the new owner was treating it
after recieving this link from a mate i now know what condition its in, i wish i didnt to be honest, was such a good car to me and never let me down

Before me my mum owned it and i showed her the link i think she was a bit more upset than me
anyways il follow with some shots from when it was in its prime (to me anyways)

When i first brought it up from nsw from the parentals, stock as a rock lipless and rollin on 14" auscars was stoked at how clean it was

Then it got treated to some hottuning colovers and a set of p slots (thank god badger kept them)

Then as most of you remember came the pink bits, rusty bits and some stickers

Anyways just though I'd throw out an RIP to my poor old mk3, you will be missed my dear friend

Noooooo, i remember this thing scraping in and out of Milton Maccas and Harry's and the attempts at rusting.

Such a shame that it's going to the scrap metal yard in the sky.

I remember seeing this under Newmarket one night, I loved it, between the rusty bonnet and pink wheels, was very original.

Sorry to hear Glynn, she was a beautiful car. Had some good times with that beast. First Euro Meet down at Hamilton I laid eyes on it with the P-slots and fell in love!
Girls2L glad to hear your ok. I know without a shadow of a doubt you would have all you could to save her and yourself. I am glad however to hear that she is still donating her self to others and bits of her stay alive.

She was a Rad Car. RIP
