tyres are prob bora standards so 225/45, reason they look so big to you mk3 guys

Quite possibly came with the car, weren't reserved for VR6 only, that was the case in the early Mk3s, but the facelift gained the smoked tails, along with colour coded one-piece bumpers...

Ah yes obd2. Also the roof antenna. Wouldn't that make the indicators round? Or did that not happen on ventos

Yer the smoked tails, smoked indicators and roof antenna were all factory. came on all th late model ventos. And the side indicators are oval

The obd 1 and obd 2 thing is a bit of a misnomer, it does roughly coincide with the facelift, but really just refers to the level of on board diagnostics i.e. 'obd' level I or II. So... you can in some rare cases find a first generation Mk3 with textured bumpers etc that is in fact ob2.

Pedantic, but that's what you get for liking German stuff. Just like with VWs you should use 'GTI' not 'GTi'.

It could well have been tarted up by a previous owner, don't think they ever colourcoded the strip at the bottom of the back bumper.

ok guys everything is genuine on that car except the interior which used to be the cream and now is black with vr seats. was changed to manual from auto and has yellow bilstein shocks
