  • My Vento

Hey guys my names Tom and this is my first VW
She's a 97 vento 2.0L with only 140 000km, one of the very later model vento's that came from factory with rectangle side repeaters, aerial on roof and factory tinted tail lights. was a factory auto but the owner before me did a manual swap also out vr6 seats in the front (which are immaculate).

trolling R32 style like a boss

Im a total newbie to vw so my planes will be going slow and steady but hopefully get it looking how i want it.
At the moment it really needs some low, which hopefully will be happening this weekend. not so distant future wheels and a vr6 5 stud conversion. needs new front bumper which i want to shave the number plate off. and then once on my black's maybe a vr6 or 1.8T conversion but going to wait and see what happens before i make plans

any suggestions would be awesome. cheers Tom

Nice looking Vento,I bought a brand new Turquoise Jetta 2.0 GL auto in America in 1994,and replaced it with a brand new 1996 Dragon Green Jetta 1.8 CLX in South Africa in 1996.

Excellent cars by the way...not mad about the all Black alloys though.

If anyone knows of anyone stripping a vr6 in nsw it would be awesome, after hubs, rotors and calipers for stud conversion. been told to go to camden GTI but ive also been told it would cost a pretty penny from them

damn, big potential, good to see more and more ventos getting loved interior and paint looks legit, just take time with choosing a set of wheels, they'll make or break it troll around for pics..... keep the sizing to 16"/17"
