Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Try giving Matt at Camden GTI a buzz, he should be able to sort you out with a replacement

I keep full coolant hose kits in stock for VR6 in black .

I also have one of those Y pipes but find bang for buck its better to change all the hoses .

Guys, my Vr6 is jinxed !! It's my second one, it's the last badge made of vr6 ! 1998! All original, from the cd stacker to the bbs rims to the radio, driven by a lady, 138000km, the bloody pipe blew first ,then the sparks plug had a small cut that caused power loss, then the oil breezer valve got a leak then the electric windows stopped working then the head light !!!! All this in 10 days!! I fix something then something else get stuffed !! Uffff !! But I couldn't decide to sell it! Cause every time I give it the 1st then 2nd gear my adrenaline jumps and I get that nice feeling that bonds me with the VR6 ...u know what I mean guys...?
