Project Never Ready

Hi everybody, just bought a bento box from ebay last week, paid less than 1k, i suppose i can give myself a pat on the back. Bento box is not too flashy on the bodywork, not registered either. Interior pretty good. Mechanical wise runs OK, but not very OK. Conclusion is this project will be low and slow, and as the title name Never Ready.

i assume by 'bento' you mean vento...?

i've only clean up the interior, replace the plugs as they were misfiring, replace the clutch cable. that's about it. work in progress to get it roadworthy and register before Sept 2012.

Appreciate the welcome here. I'm in Richmond area. Plans for the Vento would be getting it register ASAP, still working through the long list. I'll probably be looking for a steering shell soon. Let me know if they are any good.

Yea. Never thought I'll buy a Vento, always wanted a 2l manual Golf with Vento front end for a daily, then this came across, PERFECT.
