Picked up a 1995 VR6 at the weekend and love it. I wanted a MK3 VR6 when they were first launched but back then I was young and poor, now I’m just poor but at least the cars have dropped in value.

It’s going to be my daily drive and it’ll only have cash spent on it gradually but it’s a good/genuine 1994 model with 216000km’s that’s got a reasonable amount of history and has been owned by a lady for the past 5.5 years.
I’ve been messing around with VW transporters for the past 12 years but then when the deal fell through on another van I had cash in my pocket, then after a big row with the wife, I was out to buy a car I really wanted. The chase was tough and I thought I’d missed out, but the outcome came right in the end.

I don’t like those wheels but they’ll have to stay for a while. The engine needs a good going over and I’m guessing it’ll have to come out at some point but I’ll try and put a few K’s on it first.
Inside the Steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake cover are wrecked and someone’s put in leather sports seats which were Touring car style low (keeps the wife out) but fairly wrecked, think I’ll need an alternative there fairly soon.
It pulls a bit to the left and feels like the wheels need a balance so it’s in the suspension shop today to get the geometry and wheels checked.

It needs a really good clean this weekend, it’s covered in grime, but really I should give it a dam good service.
Is there anywhere I can download a copy of the Bentley manual? Lots of learning to do.
