Soon!!!! Will start looking for a late model hatch after I'm done with other started mods.
I was just about to ask if you plan to shave the hatch? But I didnt realise theres a difference between early and late model hatches? Can some one de-ignorant me please?
Late model hatches have a third brake light inside the rear windscreen instead of in the hatch spoiler and thus the screen itself has one less mounting hole (for the wiring of the brake light spoiler).
I do have 2 spare hatches, one of which is a late model!
I think shaving the wiper and badge is a good start. I agree about not shaving the plate recess. i've seen some that design like a new different shaped plate recess? That could be alright.

A lot of work though, but can look really good if done right. Some motivation got me thinking about a narrowed standard plate recess (to fit the standard white NSW plates snugly) or use the Bora plate recess, which doesn't have the plastic grab handle. Both would be a lot more cleaner, just a ****load of work.
Oh well, had another accident. Looks like I go backwards more than I go forwards with my car!
Long story short, understeered in the wet when turning left and plowed towards a cliff face. Lots of protruding rock on the ground which hit the front bumper, radiator support and crossmember back.
Bent tie-rod
Crossmember pushed back
Where the crossmember mounts onto the chassis legs
With the mods I've done and not reporting it to my insurance, I don't think I can get an insurance claim. It's under my father's name as well along with two other cars so raising the premium would suck.
Will have to see what other damage has been done as well, then I can start hunting for parts. Crossmember mount would have to be redone by a panel beater I think, but everything else I'll be trying to fix myself... *sigh*
Yeh fix what u can ray which is the tie rods and acc tensioner then take the car to a panel beater to do the rest. U can borrow my pressure washer if need be to clean all that junk off!
