Im running 16x7 et 39 with 15mm spacers ( = et 24) up back and a 195/45 and they only JUST scrubbed. Little guard roll and they are sweet Gonna change them to a 25mm spacer ( = et 14) and will be even sweeter!!

Not much progress yet but hopefully I'll be getting quite a few things completed within year's end. Anyway, yesterday was spent fitting new coilovers into my mate's FC RX7 and since we had time left, we decided to, um, fine-tune my new coilovers
Reason why I need to change these 205/50 tyres to 195/45:
I'm rubbing like crazy at the moment. I'll also have to dial a wee bit more camber on the fronts too. Rears are pretty good with the 195/50 tyres:
Once I get the 195/45 tyres on, I'll be able to even out the drop.
Not too shabby dude! Photoshoot soon, methinks all the rain may be good for just that!
Looks tops Ray, your right about those 205's, they are just a bit too fat for that ride height...
Hmnn definately a good idea Mickey, I'm just not sure how long this rain will last though...
POKE-O-RAMA!! I think I'm ready to give up on my experimentation with rear end phatness Unless I can find some 10mm spacers someone wants to trade for 15mm's.
2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!
Forever blowing bubbles.
Haha luckily my rears don't rub as much - it's my fronts! The clearance is paper thin and definitely makes itself heard in corners.
I finished my exams on Monday Louis Coilovers are suprisingly good (to be honest I wasn't expecting a lot out of them since they were crazy cheap) and even when low, it still rides decent. No photos of the FC yet, but he's gonna be slamming his ride he comes over again.
It's crazy how only millimetres makes all the difference aye Simon?
Looks sweeeeeet Raymond, and like I said, the coils are pretty damn decent for cheap ones hey!! I reckon a little more poke on the rear and maybe some MK4 GL hubcaps

Yeah, they're Robin's Hottunings! Fantastic value for money.
Hahaha I've always wanted to chuck hub caps on, but the Mk4 hub caps I got that came with the steelies don't fit over the new barrels! I might have something else in the works though.
VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it
