I've brought a Vento grill back from NZ, was under $100, I'd sell my spare 3 slate for $60. Lights, try NZ too, bonnet....be patient for that one.

Vento bumper is actually different too, but you probably wouldn't bother with that, you can barely tell the difference and both fit... just changes how different lips fit.

For NZ parts I'd use trademe.co.nz, vask.co.nz (or something similar if not, google 'vask'), there's a place in Auckland with stacks of nice VW bits, owned by 'vert' on this forum, builder of 1.8T Vento coupe and Bora coupe.

I got my vento front end for $500. And a mate bought a vento for $400 for the front end haha. It's just a matter of keeping a look out and getting in quick. Non working vento's usually go cheap as so maybe wait for one to pop up.

You only want the headlights, grill and bonnet. Don't bother about the bumper.

Bought mine from a member who was parting his vr6 with the front end.

New Vento bonnet from the dealership is like $500 retail. If you can get panel price somehow it would probably be ~300 at a guess, so theres always that option.

Second hand is good is ya can find.

                  $250 for a bonnet
                  $100 for a grille
                  $150 for some heaflights

                  Thats what iv seen.

I would 100% go for a OEM VW bonnet (after market is made from recycled poop)
