My inner CV boot has a pin-hole leak which has been squirting axle grease on the downpipe for god knows how long. I sealed it up with some Sikaflex but it turns out the damage has already been done, the CV joint is noisy.
I'll most likely replace the entire shaft assembly. How easy is this? I basically got this car ('95 Vento) to learn a whole lotta stuff, so I'm doing everything myself. Not sure how it got this leak but it looks melted...
The plan was to lower it on coilovers but I'm worried the dodgy CV joint will give in to the strain of being at a constant angle...
